Jez founded the business in May 2017 following his frustrations with existing performance consultancy firms in the market, who he felt did not always adequately deliver value against the needs of the organisations he worked with. As the architect of much of the Prism Improvement approach, Jez now has complete oversight of all programmes.
Prior to founding Prism Improvement, Jez originally trained as a pharmacist, before moving into operational management. He has worked in all hospital trust departments from Radiology through to A&E, in posts that have spanned divisional manager through to the executive board.
Over the course of the last 10 years, Jez has built his reputation as a market leading Interim Chief Operating Officer, specialising in emergency care turnaround in some of the most challenged trusts the country, including Ashford & St Peter’s NHS Foundation Trust, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, and King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Jez’s career as an interim culminated in the successful turnaround of Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust in the spring of 2016, who had previously been rated as the worst all-round NHS Trust in the country by CQC.
